Week 1/18-1/24 (3rd Week) of the 2015 Season
Cortney Berndt has started posters for the science fair and has been a very great contributor to the valentine posters. The website is up to date and running nicely. The motherboard of the robot has been finished (inner computer and motors). Valentine's concessions are coming nicely. The chassis, or lower part of the robot that contains the wheels and frame, is close to completion.
A professional webpage designer stopped by to give advice on website development. She gave us some great tips and ideas. It was a very successful night.

Week 1/11-1/17 (2nd Week) of the 2015 Season
Emily Oberle has had her 16th birthday this week!
We are settling people into their work stations. We have gotten a majority of the team to work Build. Marketing may have to pick up a few more members. We have settled upon the 5-Wheel Omni drive system, allowing us full maneuverability. This would usually be a problem because other robots would be able to push us around a lot, but no opposition this year will allow us to use this drive system.

Week of 1/4-1/10 (1st Week) of the 2015 Season
The 2015 Kickoff has revealed the game of Recycle Rush, which involves stacking and lifting. Our heads were sent spinning after a few drastic changes to ruling were made for this year; The robot can be almost 7 feet tall, bumpers are not required, and no opposition! Lots of brainstorming has happened and we have decided to go after points by stacking. Also, there is no winning in this game. It's all about the points you can rack up!

2015 Recycle Rush
Last year's game, Recycle Rush as revealed by kickoff, involves a theme of recycling. The main objective was not to compete against other robots, but to compete against the clock. Robots could lift and stack totes and bins, stick pool noodles or 'litter' in the bins, put litter in the opposing alliances field space, or work with the other alliance to stack the yellow totes for a mega point value! For stacking totes and bins, our team used top-notch maneuverability to ensure fluid movement around the court with little to no interference by using omni-wheels.
